Betaflight Setup: Getting Your FPV Rig Ready for Takeoff
Setting up Betaflight on your FPV drone can seem daunting, but it's actually pretty straightforward. First, flash the latest firmware onto your Flight Controller (like a SpeedyBee F4) using Betaflight Configurator. Then, configure your PID settings, motor directions, and receiver setup. Don't forget to calibrate your ESCs (like Oneshot42 from T-Motor) to ensure smooth throttle response. Once you're done, head to a wide-open space and practice your flying!
My take: Betaflight gives you tons of control over your drone's performance, but it takes some time to master.
